Yesterday, I got wonderful magazines Keito Dama, my friend Marina bought it in YesAsia.com for me. Old issue of Keito Dama cost $18.99 and last issue cost $20.49. Keito Dama is one of the most popular knitting/crocheting magazines in Japan. Also I received knitting book "New Style of Heirloom Knitting" by Shimada Toshiyuki (ISBN: 4-529-03992-7). The book and designs are very beautiful, photography is very artistic.

Annual leave, unfortunately, has ended...
One and a half weeks we had spend with my husband at summer cottage of my daddy in Voronezh. At last I have brought the flash card that I has forgotten earlier with photos of cultivated flowers.
Next I, my husband and nephew traveled to a small hotel on Black sea.
We rested in Kabardinka, in small village on the sea coast, very much it was pleasant to us. The truth was very hot weather, the sea was very pure and very warm +26С degree.

Bruges crochet lace
Last friday I began to knit a new crochet doily in Bruges lace technique.
Bruges crocheted lace imitates of lace that originated in Belgium, which is done on the bobbins, - it's a special kind of decorative crochet. Bruges lace consists of the ribbons which form beautiful ornaments. These ribbons are united when crocheting by small chains out of the chain stitches, and they are decorated by the chains so that an exact copy of the bobbin laces is done.
I used white and ecru Polyester Sewing Thread #20 and 0.75mm hook. I crochet doily in parallel with embroidery, so it does not is progressing very quickly.
Happy knitting!

I love lavender!
At weekends I started stitch pot with lavender (BK242) from DMC.
I replace included in kit 28ct DMC light green linen by 36ct Edinburgh white linen from Zweigart. Linen was dying by black tea.
